The Added Attraction of Leipzig, Germany

Ken and Marijke have had the pleasure of knowing this lovely family for years - ever since they lived across the street in Sugar Creek. Valerie was actually born in SC and both she and Miriam spent a lot of time with the Baker kids at either house.

Well, they invited us to their home in Germany and it was great fun to see the girls grown up (and their parents unchanged!)

Besides being a wonderful host family (see future blogs of trips into their city as well as Dresden and Weimar), they fed us to the hilt and provided us with a grand guest suite, too - perfect except for the 42 stairs to get there, I guess!

I'm going to have some buns after this trip, for sure - Teddy

P.S. All three girls played the piano for us during a mini-concert night. The whole town is musical acutally - probably has to do with it being Bach's birthplace - watch for future pics of the boys' choir in the Thomas church - AMAZING.
