Just so you know, I am a traveling bear. This is a place where I can share text & pictures of the fun (and hopefully worthwhile) things I do with my unparents, Ken and Marijke.

I started this blog for the bear-loving friends in my church mostly since they were kind enough to send me on a mission trip to France. That was in 2006. Hopefully I'll get to go on other trips, too (like this most recent extended trip in 2009). But my main mission is to bear each blessed day with gratitude.

Fascinating Reading - about Crop Circles

This may not interest too many of my fans but it was a revelation for me at least. I had no idea that this had happened so often and for so long - ten years at least. Check out these pictures that I copied from Tante Anke's books while I was staying there. Oh how fun it is to sit and read! Of course it would have been fun to tag along with Thomas and Ken in Italy, too but I was truly happy for the break and for the chance to visit with family again. This trip will go by far too fast, I fear! - TR
