Teddy on a Mission

Just so you know, I am a traveling bear. This is a place where I can share text & pictures of the fun (and hopefully worthwhile) things I do with my unparents, Ken and Marijke.

Name:
Location: Greer, South Carolina, United States

I started this blog for the bear-loving friends in my church mostly since they were kind enough to send me on a mission trip to France. That was in 2006. Hopefully I'll get to go on other trips, too (like this most recent extended trip in 2009). But my main mission is to bear each blessed day with gratitude.

Teddy Ricardo returns after three years!

Photobucket
One of the computers I get to type on has this wonderful picture as a screen saver. Perhaps some of my fans will recognize the gentleman on the left as the one and only Brad Armstrong who was with me three years ago! After an extended stay here, he is now in the army!!
Photobucket Here we have a couple of willing workers on a final wall sanding project - Crystal and Sarah, to be exact.

Some things haven't changed at all - Orangina is still every one's favorite soda pop. Here's my un-mom, Marijke with Garrett and Connie!
Photobucket Here we have Jane and Diane showing off the beautifully restained and varnished front doors to the main camp building.
PhotobucketThere's always time for a kiss in France. Here's Dan (also in the desktop picture)

I just can't leave the bread alone!
Photobucket But if you just bring me to the chocolate aisle, I'll show you lots of ideas for dessert, Connie!

Other team members were Bob, Ken, and Sally. We had lots of time with missionaries, Tom and Brenda as well and next I'll try to post pictures of Robert! (I have to admit that I had a bit of champagne with him which was only polite!)

Other team members that came before me were Sarah, Kevin, Caroline, Charlotte and Wallace (all one family!). And the team got to hang out with some French campers during their second week here but I had to miss that, too. (It took a while to get my car from the dock in Belgium to which it had been shipped a few weeks before.

I'll post pictures of that, too - as well as future pictures with friends and family over the summer. Keep up with me - I'm going to be tripping big time this year!!
