Just so you know, I am a traveling bear. This is a place where I can share text & pictures of the fun (and hopefully worthwhile) things I do with my unparents, Ken and Marijke.

I started this blog for the bear-loving friends in my church mostly since they were kind enough to send me on a mission trip to France. That was in 2006. Hopefully I'll get to go on other trips, too (like this most recent extended trip in 2009). But my main mission is to bear each blessed day with gratitude.

I'm Bearly a Help



I didn't show you pictures of the wood trim around the door openings, did I? And here's Matt taking down the miles and miles of tape - that he actually put up, too!! What a man! He's usually the team DJ, by the way - choosing tunes to listen to on the jobsite.

That's me trying to be helpful but being a little more trouble than I'm worth. Good thing I'm so cute - I've laid awake at night dreaming of the team leaving me on top of a mountain somewhere. It could still happen, I guess...
